Head Chef Lee Smith
Executive Head Chef, Lee Smith, brings a unique blend of innovation and traditionalism to his cuisine. Creating really simple, well cooked food that lets the ingredients do the talking.
Lee hails from Nottingham and realised his passion for cooking while at the internationally renowned Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons in Oxfordshire before moving to Jersey and honing his skills, first at Bohemia and then at Ormer, where he was Head Chef since the restaurant opened in 2013, leading the team that earned its Michelin Star.
Lee was at the heart of the plans in developing a new style of social eating which became Samphire with its smaller sibling, Street, as well as influencing menus at other group restaurants opening in the UK.
